CONCEPT: Infinity Feedback is a sound installation that investigates the interrelation of time, space, and repetition through analog media. At its core, the work employs a tape recorder running an endless loop, spatially configured in the shape of a horizontal figure eight—an archetypal symbol of infinity. The continuous loop is processed through a tape delay and routed to a mixing console, which integrates input from four contact microphones and a set of mechanical clocks.

The juxtaposition of the ticking clocks with the magnetic tape produces a layered sonic field in which mechanical timekeeping intersects with the recursive temporality of the loop. This superimposition generates an acoustic space that both reinforces and destabilizes linear time, gradually evolving into a saturated feedback environment. Within this feedback, the mechanical ticks of the clocks are transformed: no longer bound to discrete temporal moments, they become part of a timeless and resonant continuum.

Through its use of repetition, delay, and mechanical sound sources, Infinity Feedback stages a phenomenological inquiry into the perception of temporality. The installation does not simply reproduce sound but constructs an acoustic architecture where time folds back onto itself, evoking infinity as both a sonic and conceptual experience.

Bio:v Franz Aembient the mastermind and subculturalist of Kashual Plastik. A protagonist of the vibrant Neukölln scene, influential disc jockey and selector. He works out of Berlin and is involved in various music/art projects under several dozen mysterious names.

With his own label Kashual Plastik, he experiments with an authentic DIY approach composed of an intriguing graphic aesthetic and a hard-to-categorize sound inspired by punk, 80s synth-wave, EBM, electro as well as noise, ambient, folk and leftfield electronics.
